
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday quashed the allotment of land to cricketer Sourav Ganguly by West Bengal government in Kolkata saying it was "unreasonable and arbitrary" and asked him to surrender the plot in two weeks.
The bench, also comprising Justice G S Singhvi, set aside the allotment of 63.04 'katha' land given to the former India captain by the Left Front government in the year 2000 in posh Salt Lake locality of Kolkata.
