
New Delhi: Sports Minister Ajay Maken is unlikely to attend the closing ceremony of National Games. The snub came a day after sacked Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (OC) Chairman Suresh Kalmadi attacked the Sports Ministry in an interview with CNN-IBN.
The Prime Minister is also unlikely to attend the closing ceremony, he had skipped the opening ceremony as well.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, Kalmadi had said the CBI was ignoring government officials, including those from the Sports Ministry, who had approved key decisions along with the OC.
Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and former union sports minister MS Gill have also ignored Kalmadi's outburst against them....
