Team India will be under strict watch during Champions Trophy: reports New Delhi: As BCCI President N Srinivasan refuses to step aside over the IPL scandal, the board seems to be in damage control mode. Reports say that strict measures are being taken for the Champions Trophy.

Reports say that Team India manager Ranjib Biswal has been asked not to permit players to leave their hotel without prior permission, even if they are going out for dinner. Phone calls from outside too will not be allowed.

This comes a day after Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was publicly stopped by the team manager from responding to media questions. Dhoni has come under fire for his ignorance of the media's questions on spot-fixing.

"I am terribly disappointed with Dhoni. Now if Dhoni had even moderately expressed his opinion on what happened, do you think they were going to sack him? Do you think the cricket loving public of India would have stood for it. I am very disappointed with the Indian captain as well as the others. The time has come to ask the BCCI President to resign. The time has come to break through the silence and the issue must be forced," said N Ram, the former Editor-in-Chief of The Hindu....more
