School watchman strikes 10-yr-old boy on the eye Mumbai: A school'S watchman was arrested after he almost blinded a 10-year-old boy. Amir Jalil, a student of Mother Teresa High School, Malwani almost lost his eyesight when the watchman jabbed him in the eye with his lathi.

According to Malwani police, the incident occurred on Thursday morning at school. They said that the students had all collected in the school's passageway during lunch break and were playing when the tragic incident occurred.

"Amir was playing with his friends when the watchman Rahes Khan approached them and told them not to play there. Turning a deaf ear to Khan's order, the children continued to fool around much to the chagrin of the watchman.

Trying to scare the kids and make them leave, Khan began to wave his lathi at them when the stick managed to hurt Amir on his right eye," said a Malwani police official....more
