Wellington: Former New Zealand Cricket (NZC) chief Chris Doig has died at the age of 62 after a two-year battle with bowel cancer. Doig was in charge of NZC for six years between between 1995 and 2001. Besides cricket, he was a board member with New Zealand Rugby Union, was involved in the country's rowing federation and was a popular opera singer. He breathed his last in Christchurch on Thursday....
