The past three months has seen repeated attacks by Naxals in the state of Chhattisgarh. And in each instance, the Central reserve Police Force has been the target. On April 06, 76 CRPF jawans were massacred in Dantewada. On May 17, over 40 CRPF jawans were killed after a powerful bomb ripped through a bus they were travelling in in Chhattisgarh.
