
Mumbai: Maharashtra Minorities Development Department on Saturday launched an online facility to help people apply for minority status certificate. "Those who want to obtain the minority status certificate can apply online," Minorities Development Minister Naseem Khan said after launching the web portal.
People from minority communities can log on to www.mddmaharashtra.gov.in to apply for the certificate. The scrutiny of the documents would be done by the district collector and the applicant would be called for the purpose of verification, he said.
