US: Obama, Romney to be among those at Boston service Boston: US President Barack Obama and 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney are among those planning to attend a Boston interfaith healing service organised after the deadly bombing at the city's marathon.

A spokeswoman for Romney confirmed on Wednesday the former Massachusetts governor will be among those attending at the invitation of Democratic Gov Deval Patrick. The White House had previously announced Obama will attend Thursday's service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross with first lady Michelle Obama.

Other state, local and federal officials are expected to attend along with members of the clergy. Monday's bombing killed three people and injured more than 170 others near the race's finish line. A local politician says investigators are hunting for a man seen in a store surveillance video dropping off a bag at the site.
