
Kaimur: Some young Naxal cadres, who till very recently, were part of the armed movement, are now training with the state police force in Bihar.
This has happened because of an initiative called Naxal Super 30, launched by the Kaimur district police. A total of 30 tribal youths are now a part of the training exercise.
"We would have become Naxals had we not been shown a road ahead. If we were not told that we can progress by doing this, we would have become Naxals," said a tribal youth Vishal Kumar.
Many of the youngsters, hailing from remotest of the villages situated inside dense forests, were already part of Naxal movement because of unemployment and various other compulsions. Now, the initiative has helped them shed their tainted past....
