Nepal bus accident: Bodies of 29 Indians recovered Kathmandu: The bodies of all 39 victims of the Nepal bus accident were recovered on Monday, reports said, with 29 of them being Indians. Authorities were in the process of handing over the bodies to families and relatives.

Thirty nine people were killed when an overcrowded bus overturned and plunged into an irrigation canal on the Gandak in a district bordering Uttar Pradesh.

Twenty nine of them were said to be Indians, most of whom, investigators said hailed from Maharajganj district in Uttar Pradesh.

Indian officials are now facilitating the handover of their bodies to their next of kin....more
