India partially lifts ban on emigration to Libya New Delhi: The government on Friday partially lifted the ban on emigration to Libya more than a year after the country was hit by violence and internal strife.



Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi announced the partial lifting of the emigration ban to Libya. The ban on going to Libya for employment was imposed on February 21, 2011 after violence rocked the country.
