Kozhikode: In a major breakthrough in the TP Chandrasekharan murder case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken Patyam Kottayodi TK Rajeesh alias TK into custody from Mumbai. He is allegedly one of the masterminds in the conspiracy that led to the murder on May 4.
The SIT took him from Mumbai a few days ago and brought him to Kozhikode on Thursday, sources said.
The arrest of Rajeesh will be recorded on Friday morning and he will be produced before Vadakara Judicial First Class Magistrate Court.
Rajeesh, who stayed in a star hotel at Koothuparamaba for three days after the killing, escaped to Mumbai through Mangalore. He reportedly stayed at the house of Lalu, who was also arrested by SIT from Mumbai. However, SIT officials did not confirm this....
