Anti-POSCO leader Abhaya Sahoo arrested for instigating violence Bhubaneswar: Anti-POSCO leader Abhaya Sahoo has been arrested from the Bhubaneswar airport on charges of instigating violence at the POSCO site. Abhaya was about to board a flight in Bhubaneswar when he was arrested by the Jagatsinghpur police.

Abhaya is the chairman of 'POSCO Pratirodh Sangram Samiti' which has been spearheading the anti-POSCO movement for the past eight years. He was earlier arrested on similar charges and was on bail.

Earlier on Friday, the Supreme Court gave a green signal to iron ore mining at POSCO.
