Mumbai: Two Maharashtra-based football coaches, Alex Ambrose and Pramod Brid, have passed the Manchester United Soccer School's (MUSS) coach development programme and can now ply their wares in MU schools around the world.
Ambrose and Brid, who support the MUSS team of Chris O'Brien and Mick Bennett, come from playing and coaching backgrounds and have proved their commitment to developing young football talent in Mumbai, a media release said today.
Ambrose and Brid are now qualified to coach at the Manchester United Schools and can be deputed at any location worldwide, the release said.
Ambrose, a former India international and prolific league striker, and Brid, who played for Orkay and Mahindra, had trained intensively at the MUSS programme here over the past 9 months, and also experienced first hand the MUSS coaching philosophy, the release added....more
