
Mumbai: The process of attaching ex-Maharashtra Congress chief Kripashankar Singh's 19 properties across the state began on Friday. Singh and his family allegedly own 1 bungalow, 7 flats and hundreds of acres of land in the state.
The Bombay HC had last week asked the police to attach Kripashankar Singh's properties.
Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the law was taking its own course.
On Friday morning, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch raided Kripashankar's three residences in the city in connection with charges of amassing wealth disproportionate to known sources of income.
