RSS steps in, slams BJP for infighting New Delhi: Speaking openly for the first time on the issue, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in its mouthpiece 'Panchajanya' slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the infighting amongst its leaders.

The RSS slammed the infighting within the BJP, saying several leaders in the party carry Prime Ministerial ambitions. The mouthpiece however said that several Chief Ministers as well as national leaders were capable of becoming the Prime Minister.

Speaking against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the RSS mouthpiece hit out at him for ignoring senior state BJP leaders. It also expressed unhappiness with the Gujarat Chief Minister over the removal of Sanjay Joshi from the party national executive.

In a major move, the RSS has also made it clear that it is not in the favour of projecting a Prime Minister candidate for 2014. According to the RSS, the candidate must be chosen after the results of the General Election....more
