Amar Singh's Lok Manch faces rout in UP polls New Delhi: Rashtriya Lok Manch, the party floated by Amar Singh, one time close confidante of Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, drew a blank in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections as none of its 360 candidates was able to win any seat.

Singh had fielded 360 candidates across UP of his year-old party and had campaigned hard with Jaya Prada, a former SP Lok Sabha member.

He addressed several meetings where he attacked Yadav and supported the cause of Muslims.

But apparently, it failed to influence voters of UP who gave a thumping majority to SP....more
