Court frames charges in Rizwanur death case Kolkata: A fast track city court on Thursday framed charges against the accused Todis and middleman Pappu for abetment to suicide of Rizwanur Rahman.

The four accused are also charged with criminal intimidation and criminal conspiracy.

The CBI had prayed for slapping abetment to suicide charge against industrialist Ashok Todi and other accused, including two IPS officers.

However, the charge of abetment to suicide against the three Kolkata Police officers was dropped. The three police officers will face trial only for criminal intimidation and conspiracy....more
