Jaipur: Two with jewellery worth Rs 1.39 crore detained at airport Jaipur: A couple was intercepted with gold jewellery worth Rs 1.39 crore at the Sanganer airport in Jaipur.

The couple, hailing from Phalodi area in Jodhpur district, had come from Hyderabad on Tuesday and the jewellery was found during the scanning of their bags, officials said.

On being questioned, they failed to produce the relevant documents regarding the jewellery, they said. They were interrogated till late Tuesday night after which they surrendered the jewellery for taxation and it would be considered as an undisclosed income by the IT department, they said.
