BJD split wide open, Mohapatra attacks Patnaik Bhubaneswar: After a failed rebellion attempt by BJD MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra against the Naveen Patnaik government in Odisha - leading to his suspension from the party - the Naveen-Pyari war is now leading to the illegal money generated from the mining scam in the state.

A whopping sum of Rs 200 crore was generated to fund Mohapatra's rebellion against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Tribal MLA Sarada Prasad Nayak who had attended the coup meeting also revealed that two key BJD ministers were involved in the fund mobilisation against Patnaik who was away in the UK. On Monday, Patnaik sacked one of the two ministers.

Barely hours after the minister was sacked, Pyari Mohan Mohapatra rubbished the allegations and dared Patnaik to call for a CBI probe. Adding to the CM's embarrassment, the dissident BJD MP also claimed that despite repeated requests, Patnaik didn't consent to probe politicians in the mining scam.
