J&K: Teachers arrested for sexual assault, abuse Jammu: Two school teachers were arrested from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday in connection with two different cases.

In Kishtwar, a teacher at a girls school was arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a student. The school has been shut for a few days.

Meanwhile, in Baramulla, another teacher was arrested for allegedly verbally abusing a class 10 student, who had not performed well in his examinations. The child later attempted suicide by trying to jump off the balcony of his school.
