Sonu discharged from AIIMS, eyes Paralympics New Delhi: Arunima Sinha, also known as Sonu Sinha, the sportswoman who lost her left leg after being pushed from a running train has set her eyes on the Paralympics. More than three and a half months after she was hospitalised athlete Sonu was discharged from the AIIMS Trauma Centre on Wednesday.

Questions are still being raised on the credibility of Sonu's side of the story. But Sonu has bigger dreams and she wants to represent India in the next Paralympics games and go up till the Olympics.

Sonu claimed that on April 11 she fell off a moving train in Uttar Pradesh after trying to fight off chain snatchers. In the event she lost her limb. Even as she battled for life at the district hospital in Bareilly , Sonu was applauded for her strength and zest for life.

But soon things took a U-turn and evidence or the lack of it went against this 24-year-old sportswoman....more
