
Srinagar: Srinagar's only pediatric hospital, the GB Pant, lacked proper sanitation which was one of the primary reasons behind the 400 infant deaths reported from the hospital earlier this year, an inquiry report has said.
CNN-IBN had first highlighted the issue, after which an inquiry was ordered into the case.
The inquiry found incidents of gross negligence at the hospital. Its report stated that one of the primary reasons for infant deaths was poor sanitation.

Srinagar: Another infant has died at the GB Pant Hospital, Srinagar's only paediatric facility, taking the death toll to 359 in five months.
