Mumbai: It's been a while that Ranbir Kapoor announced his intentions of reviving his grandfather, the late Raj Kapoors production banner. Buzz is that now the ball has started rolling on the grand plans for the RK banner.
A source close to the Kapoor family says, "Ranbir was recently approached by director Sriram Raghavan with a script. After listening to it, Ranbir felt this could be just the right film for the banner. He has sought help from dad Rishi Kapoor to supervise the script and to make sure that it turns out to be a commercial film. Rishi will eventually be producing the film."
Ranbir and Sriram remained unavailable for comment. The last film produced by the banner was 'Aa Ab Laut Chalein'. Other productions include 'Barsaat', 'Sangam' and 'Bobby'.
