
New Delhi: The Aamir Khan-hosted Satyamev Jayate has made a definite impact on Sunday morning programming, according to the latest TAM data released by Star Plus. The first episode of the show on female foeticide opened with an aggregate rating of 4.09 across the country. It was reportedly viewed by 27 million viewers.
This figure holds true for the entire country including cable and satellite (C&S) households and terrestrial homes (households which watch public broadcaster Doordarshan). The show airs on seven Star network channels, ETV Telugu and Doordarshan.
The show recorded an impressive rating of 4 among C&S households in the Hindi heartland, according to TAM.
The show is a even bigger hit among terrestial viewers; it has posted ratings of 11 among those homes which have access to Doordarshan. This is the biggest plus for the programme apart from the buzz it has generated on the Internet....
