Guwahati: TV reporter arrested, booked for insult Guwahati: In a dramatic twist in the Guwahati molestation case, the journalist of NewsLive TV, Gaurav Jyoti Neog, was arrested on Friday evening. Neog was at the spot at the time of the incident and had recorded it.

Neog has been booked under 11 counts including intention to insult the modesty of a woman, obscene act and disturbing public tranquility.

Recently Team Anna member Akhil Gogoi had accused Neog of instigating the mob to perpetrate the heinous crime.

The Guwahati High Court earlier rejected his anticipatory bail petition....more
