BJP nominates Anuradha for Legislative Council The highly talented and talkative actress Thara Anuradha is on cloud nine today. Firstly she is heading the 'Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy' and doing impressive work, secondly she has been selected to the Member of Legislative Council for six years term by her party Bharathiya Janata Party.

Third because she got invitation to act in a Tamil film. She plays the mother of powerstar Suriya. After 18 years Thara is coming back to Tamil films.

Thara is the best actress award winner for Tamil film 'Ingaiyum Oru Thangai', and was a she was part of Nayagan', 'Agni Nakshatram' and other eight Tamil films. Thara has finished her portion in Suriya in conjoined twin role 'Maatttraan'.
