
New Delhi: A 28-year-old man was shot dead by a relative following an argument, police said on Thursday. The relative and his two sons have been arrested. "Rajeev Kumar, a private security guard, was shot dead by three of his relatives, identified as Than Singh, 47, and his two sons Dheeraj, 23 and Rajkumar, 20, near Shakarpur police station (in east Delhi) late on Wednesday night," said a police officer.
Kumar and Singh, who had a family dispute, on Wednesday met at marriage ceremony again in Khajoori Khas area where they confronted each other over the issue.
After the ceremony, Kumar's vehicle was intercepted by Than Singh and his sons, who shot at Kumar. One bullet hit in his chest, killing him, the officer said.
