Mumbai: Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza has expressed his desire to do a film with actress Madhuri Dixit, which would be on the lines of noted filmmaker V Shantaram's 'Navrang' and 'Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje'.
"I am working on a film that I want to do with Madhuri. It is a musical on the lines of 'Navrang', 'Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje', but revisited now," Remo told PTI here today.
'Navrang' is a 1959 film by Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre popularly known as V Shantaram. The film had Shantaram's wife Sandhya in the lead.
His yet another film was 'Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje' (1955). It again had Sandhya and dancer Gopi Krishna in the lead roles....
