100 years of cinema facts: Amjad was rejected for Gabbar Singh's role

Did you know that Amjad Khan almost got rejected from playing the iconic Gabbar Singh in 'Sholay' for having a weak voice? Cop fired for stealing from Amjad Khan's kin

Mumbai: A trainee Sub-Inspector was dismissed from service on Saturday for being involved in the misappropriation of stolen items belonging to a relative of the late actor Amjad Khan, who played the iconic role of Gabbar Singh in Sholay.
