Sridevi to Amitabh Bachchan: Serious actors with perfect comic timing

They are known for their serious author backed roles. Some of them are huge commercial stars who have played the quintessential hero/heroine in films. But these actors par excellence also have shown immense versatility in comedy. We pick our favorite 14 actors whose comic act made our jaws hurt.Be It 'Chalbaaz' or 'Mr Inidia' Sridevi's comic timing has always been perfect. She has also in the past earned critical acclaim for her role in films like 'Sadma'. Who have thought that a serious actor like Pankaj Kapur could pull off a character like Harry Mandola in 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola'. Perhaps the best thing about the film, Kapur proved yet again that he is the best we have in the country as of now.Amitabh Bachchan's comic act in 'Namak Halal' still brings a smile on people's faces. The actor who was known for his brooding image had also managed to tickle the funny bone in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Chupke Chupke'.
