Producer CV Kumar turns two shorts into feature films

Chennai: Producer C V Kumar, who has already introduced two short filmmakers into the industry with projects like 'Pizza' and 'Soodhu Kavvum', is set to turn two more shorts into feature films in Tamil soon.

"I have shortlisted two shorts which will be made into regular films soon. I will officially announce more details about the projects soon. I feel there is lot of potential and novelty in short films that needs to be used," Kumar told IANS.

"Most of these short films are made by aspiring filmmakers who are not only passionate about cinema but are willing to bring something different to the fore. They don't hesitate to experiment and that's precisely why most of them are successful," he added.

With three back-to-back hits - 'Attakathi', 'Pizza' and 'Soodhu Kavvum', Kumar as a producer, wants to continue what he is doing....more
