New Delhi: The 'Twilight' films catapulted Robert Pattinson to heartthrob status in Hollywood and the actor says he can't do away with the image the vampire franchise has given him.
Although Pattinson has tried his hand at different kinds of films such as 'Little Ashes', 'Bel Ami' and 'Cosmopolis', it is the Twilight films he is most known for. "I haven't done anything with a conscious decision. I did what just came my way. And the image that Twilight has given me will definitely stay for a while, so I can't do away with it," Pattinson told PTI in an email interview.
The 26-year-old actor, who is gearing up for the release of the final film - 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' next month, says he is happy that the franchise is now finally over.
"It was a chunk of my life and I feel happy and relaxed that the Twilight series is now over," he said. Pattinson agrees that as the franchise progressed the focus of media and the public shifted from the films to other things associated with it....
