BCCI says no to India-Pakistan bilateral cricket series New Delhi: The BCCI has once again declined the PCB proposal of having a bilateral series between India and Pakistan, sources told CNN-IBN on Thursday.

The recent political developments between the two countries don't present an appropriate situation for resuming the cricket ties, opined sources.

Earlier, PCB had sent a proposal to the BCCI for a bilateral series titled Gandhi-Jinnah series, along the lines of the Ashes. In the proposal it was mentioned that the series would be played on a regular basis, at a neutral venue - though playing in India would also be an option.

Though Pakistan visited India for a short limited overs series in December last year, there hasn't been a bilateral series between the two countries since 2007....more
