Karbonn Titanium S5 - Priced at Rs 11,990, the phone has a 5-inch qHD IPS multitouch screen. The phone has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is a dual SIM Android Phone - SIM 1 Supports 3G and SIM2 supports 2G Network.

Weekly roundup: New gadgets launched in India last week

While Karbonn announced the launch of its budget Android smartphone powered by a quad-core processor, Apple on the other hand launched the 128GB version if its fourth generation iPad. Here is a list of the gadgets launched in India last week.

HTC has launched its 5-inch HTC Butterfly in India. Priced at Rs 45,990, the phone has a 5-inch LCD 3 screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Huawei has launched two new smartphones in India - Huawei Ascend G600 and Ascend G330 smartphones. The Huawei Ascend G600 is priced at Rs 14,990, while the Huawei Ascend G330 is available for Rs 11,490.

Xolo A700 - It has a 4.5-inch qHD IPS Display. Priced at Rs 9,999, it is a dual SIM (3G 2G) phone.

Karbonn A21 - Available for Rs 9,899, the phone features a 4.5-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. It runs Android 4.0 ICS.

Galaxy Grand: Samsung's new 5-inch smartphone unveiled

Inspired by the success of the Galaxy Note and its successor the Note II, Samsung has unveiled its budget 5-inch smartphone the Galaxy Grand.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand runs Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor.

The phone has an 8 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

Chevrolet Sail U-VA launched in India at Rs 4.4 lakh

General Motors has launched the Aveo U-VA replacement - the Sail hatchback in India. It is priced at Rs 4.4 lakh for the base petrol and Rs 5.87 lakh for the diesel, ex-Delhi.

Powering the hatchback are two engine options - 1.2l SMARTECH 86PS petrol and 78PS 1.3l turbodiesel.

The petrol motor claims to deliver an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 18.2kmpl while the diesel is pegged at 22.1kmpl.

@2010: Big ticket films that flopped

These are either big budget or big banner films of 2010. High hopes were pinned to these films but they didn't work at the box office. Even big stars like Akshy Kumar and Aishwarya Rai couldn't bail this Vipul Shah directed disaster out. The movie was not able to cover its cost which is said to be around Rs 40 crores. Mexican actress Barbara Mori was flown down to star in this film opposite Hrithik Roshan. The budget of the movie is said to have run upto Rs 60 crore, making this one of the most expensive Bollywood movies of 2010. However, neither the reputation of the banner or the awesome chemistry between Barbara and Hrithik attracted the audience.

Salman Khan's ambitious 'Veer' that released earlier this year was a big disappointment. The Rs 40 crore film failed at the box office.
