Terrafugia TF-X: A four-seater flying car

Stuck in traffic jam? Use your car's flying button. Seriously! US scientists have designed a next-gen flying car, Terrafugia TF-X, which is capable of taking off vertically and flying completely on its own. It could be on the roads within a decade.

It won't require a pilot's license to operate.

The Terrafugia TF-X flying car can take off vertically and has a flying range of 805 km.

The iconic Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini turns fifty this year. Take a look at some of the vintage Lamborgini cars. A Lamborghini Miura P400 sports car, circa 1967. The car was designed by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio, and launched in 1966.

Oscar's Guide 2013: Who will win the Best Supporting Actor award?

Veteran actors like Tommy Lee Jones, Alan Arkin and Philip Seymour Hoffman fight it out for the Best Supporting Actor award this year at the Oscars.

With his brilliant portrayal of President Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's film 'Lincoln', the actor yet again sweeps you off your feet with his great acting skills.

'Lincoln' brings forth the story of Honest Abe's juggling act of slavery abolition and end of civil war. And, the method actor Daniel Day Lewis breathes life into the character and it is very difficult that you will not get overwhelmed by his performance in the film.

Hugh Jackman did not just lose a few pounds to shoot the opening scenes of his Oscar nominated film 'Les Miserables', but the actor later even had to put on weight for the rest of the musical. Considering it a total challenge, the actor had to not learn his lines but had to actually strike the right note for the musical by straining his vocal chords.

Oscars Guide 2013: The best and worst of 'Best Picture' nomination

Of the nine films nominated in the Best Picture category, here is why you should watch some and give the others a pass. A favourite this awards season, Ben Affleck's 'Argo' is just the kind of movie that is needed in this day and age. Based on a true incident when six Americans were miraculously rescued by CIA from Iran during the peak of Iran hostage crisis, 'Argo' gives an amazing glimpse of a society that can work towards if everyone is willing to give it a shot.

David O'Rusell's 'Silver Lining Playbook' seems like an unlikely choice in the Best Film nomination list. While other nominees are primarily drama, 'Silver Lining Playbook' is romantic-comedy. Many of the critics have panned the film and called it too superficial and frothy. Will it get an Oscar nod or not is something we will have to wait and watch but its lead actors- Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are being considered as strong contenders to clinch the trophy of Best Actress and Best Actor category respectively.

Katheryn Bigelow's 'Zero Dark Thrity' is based on how American troupes raided Osama Bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan and eventually killed the world's most dreaded terrorist. The war docu-drama is a very detailed film- something which is needed when one is making a film based on real life incident. The film is seen through the eyes of Maya (Jessica Chastain), a female CIA officer handling the case. It also gives out a powerful message of how a woman calls the shots in world full of men.

Top cars to be showcased at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show

Here is a list of the cars to be showcased at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show in March.

Alfa Romeo is all set to unveil the 4C at the Geneva Auto Show. This is the final production version of the concept first showcased at the same venue in 2011. The %u20184%u2019 in its moniker refers to the four cylinder 1750cc aluminium petrol engine.

Suzuki is ready with a production version of the S-Cross concept for a Geneva debut as is evident from the teaser image released by the Japanese car maker.

The 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo

The BMW 5 Series GT's baby brother, the 3 Series GT 2014 has been unveiled.

Showcased just before its Chicago Auto Show 2013 debut, the new 3 Series is 200mm longer than the sedan version while standing taller by 81mm and having a 110mm longer wheelbase.

All this translates to a higher seating position (59mm) for the front and rear passengers as also additional leg room (70mm) than the sedan.
