Mobbed by fans and media, Sanjay Dutt struggled to enter the TADA court premise on May 16, 2013 as he surrendered in the court to serve his jail sentence.Earlier in the day, crowd gathered outside Sanjay's Bandra residence before the actor was step outside to go to the court.

Crying, pleading to smiling: Sanjay Dutt is a changed man in a month's time

The wonders 4 weeks can do! A month after Sanjay Dutt broke down while addressing the press after the verdict on his jail sentence was declared, the actor looked happy and smiled at an event organised by his family.

Dutt has appealed to India's Supreme Court to give him some more time before he begins a prison sentence for a 1993 weapons conviction linked to a deadly terror attack. Dutt filed his appeal Monday, April 15, 2013 saying he needed time to complete his film commitments. The court sentenced Dutt to five years in prison for illegal possession of weapons supplied by Muslim mafia bosses linked to the terror attack that killed 257 people in Mumbai.
