
Meerut: Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday rescued Sudhir Mahajan, the director of cricket bat manufacturing firm BDM, who was abducted on Tuesday night while he was returning home in his car. Police said that two kidnappers have also been arrested in the operation. They also revealed that Mahajan's driver had masterminded the kidnapping. The driver is absconding.
55-year-old Mahajan was kidnapped on Tuesday night when he was returning to his
residence in his car from his factory located on Delhi road. The car driven by his driver Ravinder was stopped by the armed abductors near the Ganganagar police post and Mahajan along with his driver was kidnapped.
Shortly afterwards, the kidnappers made a ransom call from Mahajan's mobile to the family demanding Rs 2 crores. Mahajan's car was found abandoned in Mawana area....

Meerut: The Director of popular cricket bat manufacturing firm BDM, Sudhir Mahajan, has been abducted from Meerut. Mahajan was targetted by unknown assailants while he was returning home from work late on Tuesday night. The incident took place at around 1 am.
