The New Delhi superbug has been found in water samples in the capital according to a study published in the Lancet Infectious Diseases journal. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit however said that there is no superbug and people should not spread panic. The Indian government will now conduct its own study on the issue. A joint survey conducted by the Delhi government along with the United Nations Development Fund for Women and a non-governmental organisation body, Jagori, has found Delhi to be the most unsafe city for women, with 85 per cent scared of being sexually harassed. The survey which was conducted on more than 5,000 women in the Capital found three out of five women reporting having faced sexual harassment even during the day.
