Fortunate that I'm not from filmy background: Divyendu Sharma

Mumbai: There is a deluge of newcomers into filmdom and 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' fame Divyendu Sharma does not feel the heat of the competition as he thinks that there are enough directors and banners for everyone.

"I don't really think about the competition. I just want to do good work. I have been fortunate that even though I am not from a filmy background, the industry has accepted me. So I don't want to disappoint (the audience)," Divyendu told IANS.

"I don't think of competition. There are so many directors and stories, so every one has a part to play in the industry," added the actor, who also featured in David Dhawan directed 'Chashme Baddoor' and rubbed the shoulder with senior actors like Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Lilette Dubey.

He feels that for newcomers "understanding the industry is difficult"....more
