Fake pilot scam: DGCA warns 40 flying schools New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has found blatant disregard of norms by several flying schools across the country.

The DGCA has warned the schools that there permits will be cancelled if they fail to comply with the guidelines.

Audits of as many as 40 flying schools were carried out by the DGCA in the wake of the fake pilot scam in which licenses of more than 20 pilots were cancelled, and all of them were found to be violating norms.

After the audit, carried out since April, the DGCA has served 30-day notice to the flying schools....more
