CSK to play IPL 6 final, no suspension immediately: sources New Delhi: After the arrest of Chennai Super Kings' CEO and Team Principal Gurunath Meiyappan late on Friday night, BCCI sources have now told CNN-IBN that the Chennai franchise will not be suspended immediately and will play Sunday's IPL final against Mumbai Indians.

Speculation was rife after Meiyappan's arrest on Friday that the franchise will be scrapped according to the IPL rule book; however, sources say that won't happen at the moment. Also ending speculation about his future as the BCCI president, Meiyappan's father-in-law N Srinivasan has confirmed that he won't quit his post. Sources add that there will be no meeting of the BCCI to decide its president's fate before the IPL 6 final.

Meanwhile, the third round of questioning of Meiyappan has begun at the Mumbai Police Crime Branch office. Sources say he has acknowledged knowing arrested Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh and investigators say he is co-operating. Meiyappan is scheduled to be produced in court at 12 noon on Saturday.
