Mumbai: A look at 30-year old businessman, Mahesh Nanda, doesn't reveal the medical marvel that he personifies.
When he suffered a minor brain stroke last month that it left him temporary paralyzed, little did he know, that was only the beginning of his health complications.
"I was having breakfast, suddenly got a spasm ran through my body. I lost control of my body and hand. Was then rushed to the hospital where lots of tests and scans were done, then I became aware of the many problems with by bones and heart," said Nanda.
Diagnosed with one of the rarest congenital genetic disorders, Holt Oram Syndrome, a disorder of the bones and the heart, Nanda had not one but five medical complications. ...more
