Jaipur: 5 arrested for 'sexually assaulting' hearing impaired girls Jaipur: In a shocking case of alleged sexual assault on hearing and speech impaired girls in Jaipur, five people have been arrested. The alleged incident took place at a residential therapy centre in Jaipur. The minor girls used to often stay at the centre for their therapy sessions.

The therapy centre's warden, accountant and his wife, a security guard and an administrator have been arrested in connection with the case. The therapy centre Awaaz Foundation was jointly run by an NGO and the Rajasthan state social welfare department. The girls have alleged that they were being sexually assaulted in the centre for the past one year.

"Five girls lodged a complaint saying they were being sexually assaulted and harassed at the Awaaz Foundation for the past one year. We immediately rounded up the accused from various locations and investigations are on," said Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph.
