Restrict use of red beacon lights on official vehicles: SC to Centre

The Supreme Court had ordered a cut down on the use of red beacon lights by politicians and top officials. The Centre and state governments have been asked to amend the rules to drastically reduce the usage to only those officials who hold constitutional posts.
