New Delhi: We are celebrating the 100 years of Indian cinema with a poll which constitutes a list of 100 films from different Indian languages. These films have been selected after conducting extended research about the content and treatment of the projects.
The list contains films which have influenced the popular culture in a big way but this was not the only criteria. Opinions were also taken from experts in order to zero down on the films that deserved to be put on the list.
The wide range of themes on the list suggests the kind of sphere these films cover as they feature everything from a superstar to Gandhiji's last man.
We invite you to take a look at our poll and cast your vote in favour of your favourite film. Your participation will encourage us to come up with a better poll in future. The listing is in no particular order....

"When I saw the goalkeeper was out, I tried to put it against the goal, and luckily...

'Citizen Kane' slid to second, making way for Hitchcock's 1958 psychological drama starring James Stewart and Kim Novak. The list also includes a...

New Delhi: If you recall the sheer opulence of Baz Luhrmann's musical Moulin Rouge, complimenting Craig Armstrong and Marius de Vries's music, you will find it easier to justify Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Devdas' place in the '10 Greatest Movies of the Millennium' list compiled by the Time magazine. A decade after it was released in seven languages, the grandeur of Devdas continues to enamour an audience in the...
