Srinagar: British woman tourist found dead Srinagar: A British tourist was found dead inside a houseboat in the Dal Lake in Srinagar on Saturday after being allegedly molested by another foreign tourist from Netherlands, the police said. The woman was reportedly found in a pool of blood inside her room in the houseboat.

The Dutch tourist has been arrested in connection with the murder while he was reportedly trying to flee. The police are now probing the case.

DIG Central Kashmir Afadul Mujtaba said, "There were injuries found on woman's body. The cabin of the woman was found broken into. The Dutch tourist escaped, leaving behind his belongings and was apprehended later."

A team of FSL experts is at the spot and the body of the woman has been sent for postmortem, the sources said....more
