Days after being elevated as BJP poll panel chief, Modi meets Advani New Delhi: Over a week after being elevated as the Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign chief for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi visited his mentor turned opponent LK Advani at his residence after seeking an appointment on Tuesday.

This is the first interaction between the two since Advani resigned from three key forums of BJP in the wake of the Gujarat Chief Minister's elevation to head the party's campaign committee for coming Lok Sabha elections. Advani, however, later withdrew his resignation following a telephonic talk with Bhagwat and persuasion by BJP leaders.

Interestingly, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will also meet LK Advani in the national capital. Nitin Gadkari may be present at that meeting too.
