
New Delhi: The much-awaited Sony Xperia Tablet Z is now available for pre-order on online shopping sites Flipkart.com and Infibeam.com for Rs 44,990. While Flipkart has listed the first week of June as the estimated release date, Infibeam, on tht other hand, mentions, the Xperia Tablet Z will be released on June 3.
The tablet was unveiled in India, alongside the Indian launch of the Xperia Z amd Xperia ZL smartphones, in March. While the phones hit store shelves in India starting March 2013, the tablet was scheduled to be launched in May.
The tablet is light in weight. It is claimed to be the world's slimmest LTE tablet. The tablet has a 10.1-inch HD Reality Display, powered by Mobile Bravai Engine 2. The tablet is both water and dust resistant.
The tablet runs Google's Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm's quad-core processor. It has a 8.1 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom....
