
Mumbai: A defiant BCCI chief N Srinivasan said he cannot be "bulldozed" or forced to quit amid growing clamour for his resignation in the light of his son-in-law being arrest on charges of betting in Indian Premier League. Srinivasan, who landed in Mumbai on Friday afternoon where his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan is being produced in court, also said that the BCCI's rules will be followed strictly.
"I have done nothing wrong. I will not resign. And I cannot be bulldozed. The rules of the BCCI will be followed strictly and law will takes its own course," the BCCI President, whose fate may be decided by the cricket body after the final of IPL 6 match in Kolkata, said.
Srinivasan is in Mumbai to meet his legal team. However, he may not meet his son-in-law Meiyappan.
Meanwhile, in more trouble for him and Meiyappan, the Mumbai Police is likely to tell the court that the latter discussed team strategies with the bookies, sources said....
